He began his career with Bradford City, has also played for Guiseley prior to Southport and had a short spell at Leigh Genesis at the start of this season.
Steve has been a tremendous acquisition for the Reds and he has played a major role in the team’s climb into the play off places including six consecutive clean sheets over a month during which time he was unbeaten for 679 minutes.
