Kyle is now in his third season with the Reds and penned a new two-year deal in the summer of 2009 after a string of tremendous performances last season.
A powerful, commanding 6'1'' central defender, he was switched to left back during the 2008/09 campaign and made the position his own. He  impressived so much, he was also made team captain as a reward by manager Nicky Law.
Joined the Reds in June 2007 after being released by Sheffield United where he had been on contract with the Blades since September 2005. Made one full appearance for United during the 2005/06 campaign.
