ALFRETON Town maintained their fantastic run of form with a 1-0 win at second-placed Wrexham whose title hopes are all but over after this defeat.
In front of a huge crowd of 4,673 the only goal of the game came from Anthony Wilson who powered home a header from a Josh Law corner on 43 minutes.
The win, a fourth in a row and a fifth successive away from home, made it 22 points from the last 27 and seven wins from the last eight league games for Nicky Law's side who are now 14th in the table with a total of 50 points.
Darran Kempson returned from injury to put in a man-of-the-match performance.
The Reds will be competing in Blue Square Bet Premier Division again next season providing they don't lost all four of their remaining games and Hayes & Yeading win all of their five.

Alfreton are back in action on Easter Monday (April 9th) when play-off chasing York City are the visitors to the Impact Arena. Kick-off is 3pm.
