TOM DENTON MOVES TO WORKSOP TOWN

TOM DENTON MOVES TO WORKSOP TOWN

Wednesday Dec 19, 2012

Striker Tom Denton has left Alfreton Town and been transferred for an undisclosed fee to Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Worksop Town where he recently spent a hugely successful loan spell, netting 11 goals in 11 appearances.

Former Huddersfield Town man Denton, who stands 6'5'' tall, only joined the Reds on a two-year contract on August 8, 2012, following a very successful trial period with the club in pre-season.

However, he was unable to land a regular first team shirt and he leaves Alfreton having made just four appearances, all of them from the bench.
