STRIKER REJOINS REDS
Striker Massiah McDonald has returned to Alfreton Town on the eve of the 2014/15 Vanarama Conference season.
He was with the Reds between 2005 and 2008 after being released by Notts County, returned to Matlock on transfer deadline last March from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division rivals King`s Lynn Town.
The 23-year-old switched to The Walks in November from another league rival, Grantham Town, and scored four goals in sixteen appearances before his contract was cancelled by mutual agreement with the Norfolk club.
The striker has also played for Rainworth Miners Welfare, Carlton Town, Worksop Town and Notts County but it was at Alfreton where he first made his name as a prolific goalscorer with the club's renowned Academy side which won several honours.
He has been handed squad number 17 and will join up with the squad for Saturday's opening league game against Woking at the Impact Arena.
