TAMWORTH v ALFRETON TOWN MATCH PREVIEW

TAMWORTH v ALFRETON TOWN MATCH PREVIEW

Saturday Dec 26, 2015

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 26th, 3pm

Alfreton Town head to Tamworth on Boxing Day to contest the first game of the second half of the Vanarama National League North campaign.

Another tough game is in prospect as Tamworth are unbeaten in ten league games on home soil, winning five and drawing the other five so far.

The Lambs are currently sat in seventh place five points outside of the play-off places whilst the Reds go into the game in sixteenth place just one point above the relegation places.

Manager Nicky Law will be looking for his side to arrest a run of four successive league defeats and just four points from the last 33 available.

The Reds will be buoyed by the fact that they have already won at Tamworth this season, recording a 3-2 success in an FA Cup second qualifying round tie back on September 26th.

Kick-off at The Lamb is 3pm.
