RUSSELL MOORE APPOINTED NEW COMMERCIAL MANAGER

Alfreton Town have appointed Russell Moore (pictured) as their new full time commercial and development manager.
Moore, 49, brings with him a wealth of experience both in the commercial field and just as importantly, on the development side of the game as the Reds continue to put things into place for what will hopefully be life at the highest level of non league football next season in the Blue Square Bet Premier Division.
Russell was firmly in the frame for the Chief Executive officer's job at Port Vale recently but when the Alfreton job came along he opted for that as he feels far more comfortable working on the commercial side of things.
Moore, a former club secretary, commercial manager and general manager of Tamworth, said: "Since leaving [Tamworth] I have been helping several other non league clubs out with various things of late but I have missed having the affiliation of being with one club.
"After several meetings with Alfreton chairman Wayne Bradley and listening to his vision for the club, I am delighted to be on board.
"I am really champing at the bit to get going and as well as looking at the commercial side, I will also be devoting plenty of time to the development of the club in the future.
"Hopefully my experience can make things a little easier all round."
