REDS FACING TRIO OF AWAY GAMES

REDS FACING TRIO OF AWAY GAMES

Wednesday Jul 22, 2015

Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law will be looking for his new-look squad to transfer three hugely promising displays against Football League opposition in a week into the next three pre-season friendlies against lower level clubs.

The Reds have impressed with a 1-1 draw against Sheffield Wednesday, a 3-2 home win over Rotherham United and a 3-2 home defeat against Notts County last Saturday, a game in which they were unfortunate not to finish on level terms.

All three games have produced some terrific goals from the Reds who have been positive and creative.

Now comes three away games against teams from lower levels.

This Saturday Alfreton travel to Stocksbridge Park Steels (3pm) before going to Mickleover Sports (7.30pm) next Tuesday, July 28 and Coalville Town on Saturday, August 1 (3pm), just one week before the Vanarama National League North campaign kicks-off with an away game at Bradford Park Avenue on August 8.

No transport
Reds fans should note there is no official ATFC Supporters’ Association transport to the games at Stocksbridge, Mickleover or Coalville.
