REDS BRING IN FLEETWOOD TOWN CENTRAL DEFENDER ON LOAN

Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law has strengthened his squad ahead of Saturday's Vanarama Conference league game at Chester by bringing in central defender Tom Davies on  month's loan from Sky Bet League One club Fleetwood Town.

Davies, 22, joined Fleetwood on an 18-month contract in March from FC United of Manchester and was promptly loaned back to them for the remainder of the season

He is back at Highbury this season but is yet to make a first team appearance.

A former trainee at Blackburn Rovers, Davies has also spent two years playing for Team Northumbria whilst completing a University degree in Newcastle.

Tom will be with with Alfreton Town until November 15th inclusive and his squad number during his stay will be 25.
