Reds attend Parkwood Day Centre Open Day

The Club were proud to be a part of Parkwood Day Centre's open day yesterday.

Club Mascot Jasper aswell as Lee and Sue Mullen were in attendance with £100 being donated by Lee and Sue on behalf of the Reds.

Parkwood Day Centre, based in Alfreton; provides day services for adults with learning disabilities from the age of 18. The centre is accessible and located in the Amber Valley area of Derbyshire. 

A team of dedicated staff provide support for up to 115 people five days a week. Support is provided for individuals within the agreement of a personal service plan, which is designed to meet the needs identified in their assessment. Staff are fully trained and are able to provide a range of activities to meet the requirements of people with a diverse range of support needs. 

Parkwood is in a beautiful country park with close access to community facilities including a leisure centre, shops, bus routes, the train station and restaurants.
