NEWPORT COUNTY v ALFRETON TOWN PREVIEW

NEWPORT COUNTY v ALFRETON TOWN PREVIEW

Friday Apr 12, 2013

Alfreton Town play their last away game of the 2012/13 season when they travel to South Wales on Saturday to face fourth-placed Newport County.

With the squad already threadbare, Reds manager Nicky Law thankfully has no new injury worries after the two midweek victories and could possibly have left-back Connor Franklin back for the fixture if he can shake off a medial ligament injury.

Alfreton have the chance to record only a second league double of the season having beaten Newport 4-3 at the Impact Arena in front of the Premier Sports TV cameras on Friday, November 9th.

Newport have already ensured a play-off place but another tough game lies in wait with County having won 12, drawn five and lost five of their 22 home games so far.

ATFC Supporters' Association transport departs at 8.45am and seats can be booked by contacting Mark Thorpe on 07857 558401. The theme of the day for fans travelling to the last away game of the season is dress code is all-red!

ENTRY
Fans travelling to Rodney Park should note that entry to the ground at Newport will be via entrance No. 6 at the Sytner end of the ground.  Away supporters are accommodated in the corner of the Bisley stand.
