Blue Square Bet Premier Division
Lincoln City v Alfreton Town
ALFRETON Town take to the road on Saturday when they make the short trip to Lincoln City to contest more Blue Square Bet Premier Division points.
It is a fourth game of the season between the clubs with honours even so far, one win apiece and a draw in the FA Cup.
Lincoln won 3-1 at the Impact Arena in the first league encounter between the sides in mid-October.
An FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie, again at Alfreton two-and-a-half weeks later, saw the sides draw 1-1 with Alfreton winning the replay at Sincil Bank 2-1 on November 1.
Reds manager Nicky Law is without injured central defenders Adam Quinn (calf) and Greg Young (hamstring) as well as suspended duo Leigh Franks, sitting out with the second of a three-game ban, and Anton Brown who starts a two-match suspension for picking up his tenth yellow card of the season in the midweek win over Stockport County.
Latest emergency loan signings, striker Adam Cunnington and defender Seamus Conneely are added to the squad.
A win could see Alfreton leapfrog Lincoln who are currently in 18th place, two places and one point better off than the Reds who could also enhance their current four-point cushion over the teams in the relegation zone.
Lincoln's league home form can perhaps best be described as average with five wins, six draws and six defeats from the 17 games at Sincil Bank so far for points. They have scored 21 and conceded 21.
Lincoln go into the game looking for a first league victory in six games having drawn three and lost two of their previous five. Alfreton go into the game unbeaten in their last two league outings, both of which were at home.
