ALFRETON Town picked up three more precious Blue Square Bet Premier Division points after recording a 1-0 win at Lincoln City thanks to a Jake Moult goal in the third minute of added time at the end of the first half.

The victory, the third away win of the campaign, lifted Nicky law's side up to 17th place, five points clear of the relegation places and means the Reds have now recorded back-to-back wins in the league for the first time this season.

With Greg Young and Adam Quinn injured and Leigh Franks and Anton Brown suspended, the side was once again changed and Nicky Deverdics was handed his first start after his cameo role as substitute in the midweek win over Stockport County.

The Reds had to shake off the blow of having Theo Streete stretchered off on 11 minutes after a five minute delay for treatment to the stricken central defender who had been knocked unconscious in an aerial challenge.

He was replaced by Seamus Conneely who did well on his debut for the club having only joined on loan from Sheffield United on Thursday. Likewise, striker Adam Cunnington also made his debut from the bench when he replaced Paul Clayton on 62 minutes.

The attendance was 2,253 with the Reds man of the match being Darran Kempson for an outstanding display.
