LAW: IF YOU CAN'T DEFEND YOU DON'T WIN GAMES

Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law slammed his defence after the Reds conceded three goals in the first half of a 3-3 draw at relegation-fighting Hednesford Town on Saturday.
"We defended poorly first half. Tom Allan's got a one v. one and brought him down for a penalty. Todd Jordan had a one v. one edge of the box - brought him down for a penalty. The third goal, Niall Heaton's got too tight, then the lad's turned and he's pulled him back - free-kick - ball into the box and a header. If you can't defend you can't win games of football" reflected Law.
"We came back second half and probably could have won it with a little bit better decision making in the top third. Dan Bradley's been absolutely magnificent.
l always thought we could score. They were poor at the back when we put the ball into decent areas - we scored three goals today and that should have been enough.
"We stopped making basic mistakes in the second half, although later in the game we didn't and almost paid the price for that. Good teams are formed on good defences, and when we're solid and can defend well we have a chance of winning games as we have done. When we don't, we don't."
