Saturday Mar 17, 2012
ALFRETON Town boss Nicky Law praised the efforts of his squad after they had recorded a third straight victory and made it ten points from the last twelve available.
The Reds boss said: "The last four games have been big games for us.
"We knew we had Telford, Stockport, Lincoln and Kettering coming up and if you had offered ten points from them we'd have snatched your hand off.
"Credit to the players, they've dug in and turned a difficult season around.
"We're not there ye,t but we're edging nearer and closer and hopefully we can get the job done closer to the end of the season."
Agreeing that Alfreton had got off to a fantastic start in the 2-0 win at Kettering Town on Saturday, Law said: "We knew what we had to do . We knew we couldn't sit off and let them settle and play and gain confidence and momentum.
"We bossed them and bullied them and It could have been four or five in the first 15 minutes."
