LAW EXPRESSES DISAPPOINTMENT

Sunday Apr 24, 2016

Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law was openly disappointed after seeing his side fall to a 3-0 defeat in their last home outing of the season against mid-table rivals Stockport County.

“I have no complaints, we were well beaten" said Law.

“They were technically, physically and mentally better than us and that’s why they came out on top.

“We struggled to get going and were never really at it at all.

“We need to find some consistency as a group otherwise you will never win enough games to do anything. You will always be mediocre and that’s what we were.

“They (Stockport) never had to work for their win at all. I am not taking anything away from them though because they deserved it.

“Man for man they were bigger stronger, they wanted it more and for me to be saying that is really disappointing but sometimes you have to accept that you were second best” ended Law.
