Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law felt his side gave away some cheap goals in the 3-3 draw at Hereford United but he also praised the players for their resolve as they twice came from behind to gain the point.

He reflected: "I thought first half we were the better team.

"They played all the direct stuff and I thought we dominated it, but we've given a poor goal away from our corner.

"We've responded but the second one's disappointing - it's a free header - and then to come out for the second half and concede again so early from two free headers we've given ourselves a mountain to climb.

"But credit to the players. I thought we played some good stuff today - that's as good a performance from a midfield four as I've seen. And the back four were excellent and the two lads worked hard up front.

"We've played a good side, but we've scored three goals and not won and that's disappointing, but we've shown great resolve again.

"We've conceded seven goals in the last three games and not one of them has been a good one. We are not making the opposition work hard enough to score against us."
