LAW DELIGHT AT ANDI THANOJ GOAL

Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law (pictured) was delighted with Andi Thanoj's superb point-saving strike in the 1-1 draw at Torquay United.
"l've seen that he's got that in him, we've seen it in training - he's got the ability, with very little back-lift to create power and speed and it was a delight to see that go in" said Law.
"But it was a total contrast to the one at the other end. We're having to score goals like that to get a point out of it and they've scored with an 18-yard box to 18-yard box goal-kick, we can't get anything on it at centre-half - ends up in the back of our net.
"I am disappointed in that sense, but as l've just said in there we have to highlight the negatives and the mistakes, as l did do, but you like to finish on the positive note that Andi Thanoj rattled that one in and we've salvaged a point."
Asked it felt good to have come to a club like Torquay and rescue a point like that, he added: "Look at Derby yesterday [Saturday] . They [Southport] would have been delighted with 1-0, but to get beat in the 93rd minute it's harder to take.
"l think after the initial five minutes when Chapell was getting the ball out wide - we came with a different shape, tried to do it and it didn't quite work, but we came in 0-0 at half-time, which we wanted to do, we wanted to be in the game, we changed it second half, then to lose Bradley was a bit of a blow and l couldn't see them causing us a problem - it was just going to be a mistake, as it's proven again.
"There was a similar move a bit earlier when George Willis came out of goal and l thought he'd gone a bit early, but he's got a block on it and l thought 'he's got us out of trouble there'."
