Alfreton were brought back down to earth after Tuesday's excellent win over AFC Halifax Town, going down 3-0 at the Aggborough Stadium against promotion chasing Kidderminster Harriers.

This ended up being the 12th home victory in a row for the Harriers. All the goals came in the first half from  a James  McQuilkin penalty after 19 minutes, Liam Truslove 27 minutes and Tyrell Waite five minutes later.

The Reds thwarted Kidderminster after the break and had goalkeeper Fabian Spiess to thank for keeping the score at 3-0 with a number of fine saves.

The Reds remain 17th in the Vanarama National League North, four points outside the relegation zone with a game in hand. kidderminster are in third place level on points with Salford City and Chorley.

Meanwhile Nottingham Forest Under 23's are again in action tomorrow at the Impact Arena at home to Ipswich Town Under 23's. Kick off is at 7pm . Admission is £4 adults and £2 concesssions
