JOSH LAW ON TARGET TWICE FOR MOTHERWELL

Thursday Jul 17, 2014

FROM ALFRETON TOWN TO EUROPE

Former Alfreton Town player Josh Law scored twice for Motherwell last night in their Europa Cup qualifying round home tie against Icelandic side Stjarnan.

Josh netted after just nine minutes and followed up with a second on 19 minutes to put his side firmly in charge. However, the visitors extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to twelve games this season by fighting back to draw 2-2 with two penalties, the second one coming on 90 minutes.

Josh departed Alfreton this summer for the Scottish Premier Division club after making over 300 appearances and scoring 30 times since joining in October 2007 from Chesterfield.
