IT'S A SHAW THING AS TOM SIGNS TWO-YEAR DEAL

Tuesday Jul 2, 2013

Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law has significantly strengthened his squad with the addition of experienced former Cambridge United central midfield player Tom Shaw.
A former England C international, Tom, 26, has signed a two-year deal with the Reds.
Shaw began his career with Nottingham Forest's youth academy before moving to the youth team at Rushden & Diamonds where he progressed to play in the Football League for the now defunct club.
After a loan spell with the also defunct Nuneaton Borough, Shaw (pictured in Cambridge United colours) signed a one-year contract with Mansfield Town but moved on to Tamworth and then Kidderminster Harriers in 2010.
He made 42 appearances for the Harriers before joining Cambridge United on a two-year deal in 2011 where he made 79 appearances, scoring 13 times.
