The chairman and directors of Alfreton Town Football Club wish staff, volunteers and supporters a very happy New Year.
The directors would also like to place on record their commitment to the club’s current good standing and exciting future.
As the new year unveils itself, the club will be announcing a unique forward-thinking international organisation with strong local roots and universal desires.
An official statement detailing specific matters will follow within the forthcoming days.
The club is constantly committed to working to achieve the highest placed position in the football pyramid but above all is dedicated to financial fair play.
The club’s debt free position, which will not be compromised, remains the case, under-written by the chairman and hard-working board of directors.
The forum conduct in the past year has been of concern. The forum was launched by the club, run by the club and supported by the club for it’s supporters to debate matters but unfortunately, recent research has revealed that individuals from outside of the area have been commencing negative topics with unfounded information and encouraging where they can a negativity of debate.
The individuals posting from outside of the area cannot be stopped without the club inflicting bans, etc.
The club has therefore no choice but to consider closing the forum to re-open it at a later date with a new application designed at providing genuine supporters with up-to-date information on the club.
The club would like to apologise in advance of any such action to the genuine supporters who correctly use the forum for debate.
Communicating with the club to ask questions, or voice matters of concern, or propose ideas has always been easy and will remain so.
Within his matchday programme notes, the club chairman always invites contact and publishes his contact details for the raising of such questions, the details of which are as follows:
TELEPHONE: 01159 392090 extension 107 (business hours)
BY POST: Wayne Bradley, Chairman of Alfreton Town FC, The Impact Arena, North Street, Alfreton, Derbyshire DE55 7FZ.
The chairman has always guaranteed a reply to any questions raised.
A new horizon is soon to dawn and whilst specific information of such changes will be announced by the club within the forthcoming days, the club in turn would ask the fans for their continued trust and support.
