Alfreton Town visit Hereford United on Bank Holiday Monday for their final Skrill Conference Premier Division away fixture of the 2013/14 campaign.
Whilst a draw at home to Grimsby on Good Friday left Alfreton will little but pride to play for, Hereford remain in the relegation mire and are two points shy of Chester who currently occupy the final position of safety.
The Bulls will be well aware that anything other than victory could potentially end their stay in the division.
Like Alfreton the form table hardly makes encouraging reading with six defeats in their last seven games, in comparison Nicky Law’s side are now six games without a victory – although the Reds have drawn three of them and the draw with Grimsby and performance in the game, showed positive signs of encouragement.
Despite their play-off dreams being virtually ended by that result, Alfreton will be determined to end what has still been a successful season, on a positive note – a victory would also secure a first ever Conference Premier top half finish for the Reds.
Alfreton will have fond memories of the reverse fixture which took place way back in August, on that occasion Josh Law sent the Impact Arena faithful home smiling with a last minute goal that secured a 2-1 victory.
There are no new injury worries for manager Nicky Law who will have plenty of options in all outfield departments.

Kick-off at Edgar Street is 3pm.
ATFC Supporters' Association transport to Hereford departs at 9am and seats can be booked by contacting Mark Thorpe on 07857 558401.
