TEN MAN REDS FIGHT BACK FOR A POINT

Alfreton Town fought back from a disastrous first half which ended with them trailing 3-1 at the break to draw 3-3 at relegation-threatened Hednesford Town.

In a game of three penalties, Alfreton also had to contend with Sam Jones being seng off after just 15 minutes for an off the ball incident.

The Reds conceded two first half penalties, both scored by Shelton Payne on 13 and 24 minutes, Niall Heaton's first ever goal for the club reduced the arrears with a header from a corner on 32 minutes before Jack Fitzwater put the hosts in charge at half-time with a third goal on 37 minutes.

A gutsy second half display saw Nicky Law's side hit back to gain a point and extend their unbeaten run away from home in the league to seven games as a Dan Bradley penalty on 62 minutes and a Sam Smith goal on 70 got Alfreton back into the game.
