HEDNESFORD TOWN 2, ALFRETON TOWN 4
Saturday Oct 10, 2015
A Jordan Robertson hat-trick enabled Alfreton Town to hit Hednesford Town for four for the second time this season as Nicky Law's side recorded a 4-2 Emirates FA Cup third qualifying round success on Saturday.
The Reds had to come from behind, conceding on 13 minutes to an Ahmed Obeng shot but the in-form Robertson equalised for Town just five minutes later and then set up Dan Bradley for his first goal of the season on 25 minutes.
The hosts had goalkeeper Dave Parton sent off on 27 minutes after he brought down Dan Bradley and Robertson despatched the resultant penalty.
Jordan rounded off his hat-trick on 64 minutes to make it eight goals in seven appearances for the Reds, and although the hosts reduced the arrears on 75 minutes, John Disney netting the loose ball after Alfreton keeper Matt Duke had saved the Hednesford man's penalty, it was Town who claimed the victory and £7,500 prize money.
