Harry Middleton leaves the Club

Thursday Nov 1, 2018

ATFC can confirm that Harry Middleton has left the club and joined Gainsborough Trinity.

Middleton joined the Reds from Port Vale until the end of the season in August 2018.

Harry rose through the ranks at Doncaster Rovers and made 80 appearances during his four years as a first team professional with the club, competing in League One and League Two.

The midfielder was also part of the Doncaster squad who gained promotion out of League Two, during the successful 2016/17 campaign.

Harry joined Port Vale on a free transfer in August 2017, before joining Halifax Town on loan in November 2017. Middleton was then released by Port Vale at the end of the 2017/18 campaign.

Middleton has struggled to break into the Reds first team so far this season and has made just six appearances from the bench so far this season.

Reds boss Billy Heath:

“Harry has found it difficult to break into the first team here but he has been a great professional with a good attitude.” “He goes with our best wishes for the future and we thank him for his excellent effort whilst he was with us.”

All at ATFC wish Harry all the best at Gainsborough and wish him well in the future.
