FOREST MIDFIELD MAN JOINS REDS ON LOAN

FOREST MIDFIELD MAN JOINS REDS ON LOAN

Thursday Mar 22, 2012

ALFRETON Town manager Nicky Law has strengthened his squad for the crucial end-of-season run in by bringing in Nottingham Forest central midfield player Daniel Meadows on loan deadline day on a youth loan until April 28 inclusive.
Newark-born Meadows, 19, has progressed through the ranks at the City Ground and signed a two-year apprenticeship with Forest in February 2009 progressing to play for both the youth team and Reserves for whom he has featured regularly and also captained.
He was the first winner of Forest's Apprentice of the Year award at the end of the 2010/11 season in recognition of his application and commitment in both matches and in training.

Described as a pacy, attacking central midfield player with plenty of stamina, Daniel (pictured right) will be added to the squad for this Saturday's Blue Square Bet Premier Division home game against Cambridge United at the Impact Arena (3pm).
