Saturday, September 15th
Blue Square Bet Premier Division
Forest Green Rovers v Alfreton Town
at the New Lawn
Kick-off: 3pm

Alfreton Town are back on the road for a third time out of the last four games when they travel to Gloucestershire to take on high-flying Forest Green Rovers on Saturday.

Reds manager Nicky Law has no injury or suspension worries but won't have the option of striker Tom Denton who has joined Worksop Town on a month's loan.

Alfreton are yet to record a point against Forest Green after 6-1 and 4-1 defeats at home and away respectively last season but they will travel in confidence after a stunning 3-0 win over Luton Town at the Impact Arena last Saturday made it back-to-back wins for the side for the first time this season. The Reds have also won two of their last three away games.

Dave Hockaday's Rovers were top of the table prior to a 1-0 defeat at  Grimsby Town last Saturday, and will provide another tough test for the Reds. It was their first reverse of the campaign.

Forest Green have won three and drawn one on home turf this season. They were held to a 1-1 draw at The New Lawn by Cambridge United on the opening day of the campaign, since when they have beaten Woking 3-1, Hyde 3-1 and Ebbsfleet United 4-1.
