FANS INVITED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF LOW PRICES

Thursday Nov 14, 2013

FREE ADMISSION FOR KIDS THIS SATURDAY

With this some of this weekend's games affected by the international break, football fans throughout the Alfreton area can avoid missing their regular Saturday fix by seeing what the in-form Reds have to offer - and at bargain prices.
Alfreton have drastically reduced admission for their Conference Premier Division home fixture against Braintree Town and the club are hoping that one of, if not the lowest prices in the league this weekend will bring a bumper crowd to see them try and expand their exceptionally good home form at fortress Impact Arena.
Alfreton have picked up 22 points out of 27 at home with seven wins, a draw against runaway league leaders Cambridge United and one single-goal defeat.
Fans of Derby County and Nottingham Forest in particular, but also other local fans of other Premiership and Championship clubs are invited to come and see their local team who have been providing top value entertainment at home matches which are averaging over four goals each game.
Nicky Law's side have already recorded home wins over Barnet, Kidderminster Harriers, Hereford United and Woking amongst others and a win over sixth-placed Braintree on Saturday could even push them into the play-off positions from their current position of ninth.
Admission for adults (aged between 22 and 64) is just £12 on Saturday, with concessions (65 and over) £10, a young adult (aged 17 to 21) is just £5 and children under 16 can get in for free provided that they are accompanied by a paying adult.
It is certainly a club that looks after it's  fans, a fact which was borne out only last weekend when chairman Wayne Bradley made a magnificent gesture by paying for both supporters' coaches for the trip to Wrexham in the FA Cup.
Hopefully many more local fans will come and see what the club is all about for themselves this Saturday.

Lincoln game rearranged
Meanwhile, Alfreton's Skrill Premier league game at Lincoln City has been rearranged for Tuesday, January 7th, 7.45pm.
The fixture has been moved from next Tuesday (Nov 16) as both Bradley Wood and Dan Bradley are away with the England C squad for the friendly international against the Czech Republic Under 21 side which is being played at Woking FC on the same night.
