EBBSFLEET UNITED v ALFRETON TOWN PREVIEW
Friday Oct 12, 2012
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13th, 3pm
Saturday, October 13th, 2012
Blue Square Bet Premier Division
Ebbsfleet United v Alfreton Town
at Stonebridge Road
Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law will be looking for his side to bounce straight back from their 2-0 midweek home defeat against Grimsby Town when they travel to Kent on Saturday to face an Ebbsfleet United side who find themselves in the bottom four.
Reds boss Law has no new injury worries and no suspensions with just Adam Quinn and Anton Brown still recovering from calf injuries as he looks for a big response from his side after having their six-match unbeaten run ended in midweek.
Despite that defeat, Alfreton will be defending a three-game unbeaten away run.
Ebbsfleet will be seeking a second home win of the season having drawn three and lost three at Stonebridge Road as well so far.
Their only home victory so far was a 3-1 success against Mansfield Town just over a month ago. Draws have been shared with Wrexham (1-1), Woking (2-2) and Kidderminster Harriers (1-1). Defeats have been tasted against Braintree Town (0-1), Luton Town (1-3) and Barrow (4-2).
It is a first meeting of the campaign between the clubs. Last season the Reds took four points out of six with a 2-2 home draw back on September 24 being followed by a 2-1 away win in Kent on March 27.
