JOSH LAYS DOWN THE LAW

ALFRETON Town moved ten points clear of the relegation places as they came from behind to beat Ebbsfleet United 2-1 at Stonebridge Road on Tuesday night.

The home side took the lead after just seven minutes through Liam Enver-Marum's shot from inside the penalty area.

Alfreton equalised through Adam Cunnington's close range header from a Josh Law corner on 35 minutes and it was Josh's first goal of the season on 48 minutes which ultimately proved to be the winner. Cutting in from the left, Law despatched a low shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the penalty area.

Adam Cunnington also struck a post and the Reds had keeper Jon Stewart to thank for two late saves to ensure the long trip back from deepest Kent was a happy one.

Paul Clayton missed the trip with a neck injury.
