CORBY TOWN v ALFRETON TOWN, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30th, 7.45pm

Friday May 13, 2011

Alfreton Town head down the M1 on Wednesday night to take on Corby Town in Blue Square Bet North action.

It will be a third game in five days for Alfreton and Corby will be all out to avenge the memories of a 6-0 beating at the Impact Arena on March 12.
The Steelmen have recovered really well after that reverse, taking seven points out of 12 since then and they go into the game buoyed by victories in their last two league outings, the latest being a fine 2-1 win at Workington last Saturday.
That was preceded by a 3-1 home win over Vauxhall Motors.
Following Tuesday night's results, the Reds were knocked out of top spot by AFC Telford United after just 24 hours in pole position, but they can go two points clear at the top of the table - with two gams in hand - if they achieve a victory in Northamptonshire. Another big game coming up. Results for Tuesday, March 29

Harrogate Town 0, AFC Telford United 0Central defender Scott Garner has been recalled from his loan period with Alfreton Town by parent club Grimsby Town. The Reds would like to thank Scott for his efforts during his spell at the Impact Arena.
