BOSTON UNITED 2, ALFRETON TOWN 1

BOSTON UNITED 2, ALFRETON TOWN 1

Sunday Oct 18, 2015

Alfreton Town were left wondering how they lost 2-1 in the league at Boston United on Saturday after dominating proceedings throughout the majority of the game.

However, they once again finished a game with ten men after Cliff Moyo was sent off on 78 minutes for a second cautionable offence and Nicky Law's side have now lost their last three league games.

All of the early play came from the Reds but the hosts took the lead on 31 minutes when Grant Roberts fired home.

The Reds drew level through a Sam Jones shot a minute before half-time but Boston grabbed the winner on 76 minutes as they emerged from a heavy spell of Alfreton pressure to snatch an unlikely winner.
