Blue Square Bet Premier Division
Bath City v Alfreton Town
At Twerton Park
by Tom Lawler
ALFRETON Town face a vital relegation clash on Tuesday night as they travel to Twerton Park to play bottom-of-the-table hosts Bath City.
Both sides currently sit in the bottom four of the Blue Square Bet Premier and will be desperate for all three points as they bid to survive.
A win for the Reds could potentially lift them outside the relegation-zone providing other results go their way as Nicky Law's side sit one point from safety.
Victory for the Romans would put them a single point off of Alfreton and a possible two points from climbing out of the bottom four.
Law's side will be boosted by the news that Anton Brown is expected to return to the squad following missing the game against Kidderminster Harriers with 'flu.
The Reds boss could also shake things up and give latest loan signing Craig Clay a debut following his move from League One neighbours Chesterfield last Friday.
The only players Nicky Law will be missing for this crucial league fixture is Louis Moult who serves the first of a three-match ban, and goalkeeper Joe Day who is still recovering from a groin injury.
Bath City manager Adie Britton only has one injury worry heading into this fixture with Marley Watkins looking doubtful after picking up an ankle injury.
Britton's side have recently picked up eight from a possible 18 as they bid to survive in the Conference Premier, although they will be eager to bounce back from their 6-0 defeat suffered at Grimsby Town last weekend.
The Reds have also taken eight points from their last six games but will be looking to end a winless run of three games.
This will be the first meeting between these two sides this campaign, as they next play each other on the final day of the season at the Impact Arena.
