DAWSON PENALTY SAVE ENSURES ALL THREE POINTS

Alfreton Town were indebted to an injury-time penalty save by Cameron Dawson for ensuring the Reds returned to winning ways with a 1-0 success at Altrincham on Saturday.

Luke Graham chose the perfect time to produce his first goal for the club when he headed the only goal of the game on 20 minutes from a Tom Shaw corner and and the scores stayed that way until the 93rd minute when Graham fouled substitute Steven Gillespie who then saw his penalty superbly saved by Dawson.
