TUESDAY, MARCH 18th, 7.45pm

By Matt Carter

Alfreton Town will be targeting a third successive victory as they take on Tamworth in Tuesday night’s rearranged Skrill Premier Division clash at the Impact Arena.
Shaun Harrad secured a hard fought victory against relegation battlers Chester at the weekend and like Saturday’s opponents Tamworth are also fighting at the wrong end of the table.
The visitors have struggled consistently of late, winning just one of their last 13 fixtures. That run has seen Tamworth slip to second bottom of the table and in dire need of addressing the slump.
Again Alfreton will have to guard against complacency, although the success over Chester and the win over Hyde previously should stand them in good stead for this latest encounter. As was also the case against Chester, the Reds will be looking to avenge a defeat in the reverse fixture, having lost by a single goal at Tamworth in November.
That loss aside, the Reds have performed impressively against Tamworth, claiming convincing victories at the Impact Arena in both the 2012/13 and 2011/12 campaigns, whilst drawing the away fixture in both of those seasons.
Alfreton have been hit by an injury to central defender Michael Wylde who broke both his fibula and tibia against Chester and he joins John McGrath as a long term absentee.
Andrai Jones also picked up a knock over the weekend and a late fitness test will determine his availability. Three points have been made all the more imperative by the decision to deduct Alfreton three points for fielding an ineligible player against Kidderminster back in December, a victory here will go some way to softening that blow.

There is no segregation in place for this fixture but Tamworth fans are kindly requested to enter the stadium via the Alma Street turnstiles only.
Covered terracing and seating areas are available for visiting fans, as well as match day programmes, catering and toilet facilities.

This fixture is also a 'Kids for a Quid' admission fee so long as youngsters under-16 are accompanied by an adult. Admission for 16-21 year-olds is just £5 each for this game.
Ordinary admission at the turnstile on the day of the game is £18 for adults and £12 for concessions (over-65s). Alternatively, Early Bird Match Tickets and Group Saver Match Tickets both offer discounted admission if ordered prior to the match.
