This Saturday the 10th of February, the Reds are at home to in form Stockport County kick-off 3 pm.

This will be the first league match with Russ O'Neill at the helm but the Reds head into the game with momentum after last weekend's 2-0 win at Gainsborough Trinity in Nicky Law's final game in charge.

The Hatters however have moved up to fifth place in the Vanarama National League North table and are unbeaten in their last ten league games.

Their most recent result saw them survive a scare to finally overcome Stalybridge Celtic 3-1 at Edgeley Park last Saturday, before a crowd of  3,765. Stockport took the lead in the 8th minute through top scorer Danny Lloyd with his 20th goal in all competitions, Kieran Dunbar equalised for Celtic at the beginning of the second half. For the next half hour the visitors held the upper hand but Stockport went back in front with another goal from Lloyd this time from the penalty spot after 76 minutes. Jimmy Ball's glancing header sealed the result some ten minutes later.

Stockport's team was : Ormson, Minihan, Duxbury, Montrose, Clarke, Smalley, Osborne, Meppin-Walters, Amis, Marsden, Lloyd

Subs : Ball, Felix, Smith, Odejayi

The Reds were unlucky to lose a thrilling game 4-3 at Edgeley Park on the opening day of the season.  Gary Stopforth scoring a late winner in added on time. The Reds scorers were Paul Clayton, Tom Allan and Dan Bradley. A difficult encounter is expected in front of a large crowd.
