ALFRETON TOWN v MACCLESFIELD PREVIEW
Thursday Feb 14, 2013
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 16th, 3pm
Alfreton Town return to the Impact Arena on Saturday when eighth-placed Macclesfield Town are the visitors for a Blue Square Bet Premier Division fixture which kicks-off at 3pm.
Reds manager Nicky Law will be looking for his side to build on the terrific 3-0 success at Cambridge United in midweek as his side go in search of a first home the league in three games, and a victory will give Alfreton a first league double of the season.
Law is still without Anton Brown (hamstring) and probably Adam Quinn (calf) but he has no other injury or suspension worries to contend with.
Macclesfield arrive in good fettle, being unbeaten in their last four league outings, drawing the last two and winning the two prior to that.
On home turf in the league, Macc have won seven, drawn three and lost four out of 14 games played for points.
In their latest game, they drew 0-0 at Tamworth on Tuesday evening.
The first meeting of the season between the sides saw Alfreton triumph 2-1 at the Moss Rose on October 6, 2012, thanks to goals from Dan Bradley after just 12 seconds and an 87th minute winner from Nathan Arnold.
There is segregation in place for the Macclesfield Town league fixture and all visiting fans are requested to enter the stadium via the away turnstiles at the Alma Street end of the Impact Arena only.
Admission is £18 for adults and £12 for concessions (U16s, Over-65s and students upon production of a student card).
However, Early Bird Match Tickets are available priced at £16 and £11 respectively and these can be obtained by calling the ticket office on 01159 392090 extension 107 on Thursday and Friday between 9.30am to 2.30pm each day.
