ALFRETON TOWN v LINCOLN CITY MATCH PREVIEW

Monday Mar 16, 2015

ADMISSION REDUCED TO JUST £10 FOR ADULTS AND CONCESSIONS

By James Aspinall

Alfreton Town are back in Vanarama Conference action on Tuesday evening when mid-table Lincoln City are the visitors to the Impact Arena, and the Reds will be looking to extend their winning run to four games.
The Reds took a huge step towards safety in the Vanarama Conference on Saturday, as they beat Dartford thanks to a late Tom Shaw goal which has extended the gap between Alfreton and the bottom three to eight points.
Nicky Law's men will be looking to once again extend this gap, as they begin to build some momentum heading into the final nine games of the season and secure survival.
Manager Law has no suspensions to contend with and no new injury worries with on-loan Plymouth Argyle left back Aaron Bentley having recovered from a dead leg.
Lincoln lost 2-0 at home to strugglers Welling United and will look to bounce back from the defeat.
The Imps will be without striker Delano Sam-Yorke, who was sent off in their match on Saturday after getting in a tangle with Welling's Chris Bush in added time at the end of the 90.
The Lincoln boss Chris Moyses expressed his frustration at the defeat, stating that "the last three home games have been a disgrace".
This will be something they will look to rectify on Tuesday at the Impact against Alfreton.
These two sides have already faced each other four times this season (in all competitions), with Lincoln winning twice, Alfreton once and drawing one.
