ALFRETON Town return to Blue Square Bet Premier Division action on Saturday when sixth-placed Gateshead visit the Impact Arena.

It is a first home league game for a month for the Reds but the second time the sides have met this season with Nicky Law's side going down 2-0 at the International Stadium back on September 3rd when two goals from Kris Gate on 60 and 81 minutes ended Alfreton's resistance.

Reds boss Nicky Law has plenty of competition for places and could recall fit-again Connor Franklin and only son Josh and Matt Wilson are still on the injured list.
Jake Moult is also available again after missing the FA Cup tie with Carlisle United through illness.
The Reds need to end a run of five straight defeats in the league and go into the game seeking a first win in ten Blue Square Bet Premier Division games and a first at home in five outings for points.
If they are to achieve anything positive from the game though, the Reds are going to have to overcome a visiting side in good form and the Heed are unbeaten in their last four games in all competitions with three wins and a draw.

Gateshead are sat in sixth place, one point outside the play-off places and they will be keen to extend their already impressive away form of six wins from nine games on the road so far.
They have yet to draw a game on their travels this season and have lost just three times -
3-1 at Fleetwood Town, 1-0 at Lincoln City and 5-1 at Luton Town.
Ian Bogie's side have notched up wins at Kidderminster Harriers (3-2) on the opening day of the campaign, 3-1 at Southport, 2-1 at Barrow, 3-2 at Hayes & Yeading United, 1-0 at Ebbsfleet United and 2-1 at AFC Telford United.

The top scorer for Gateshead is Jon Shaw  who has hit 19 goals in all competitions already.
In their last game, last Saturday at Blyth Spartans in an FA Cup first round tie, Gateshead comfortably won 2-0 with goals from Shaw and Micky Cummins.
The Gateshead team at Blyth was: Alnwick, Baxter (Henderson 80), Carruthers, Clark, Curtis, Brittain (Moore 69), Cummins (Nix 85), Turnbull, Gate, Fisher, Shaw.
Substitutes not used: Deasy (gk), Rents, Mulligan, Gillies.
