ALFRETON TOWN v EASTLEIGH PREVIEW

ALFRETON TOWN v EASTLEIGH PREVIEW

Tuesday Dec 9, 2014

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 10th, 7.45pm

Alfreton Town return to Vanarama Conference action tonight when Eastleigh FC visit the Impact Arena for the first time ever.

Alfreton Town boss Nicky Law will be looking for his side to build on last Saturday's 1-0 victory at Nuneaton Town as the Reds seek a first home win in five league outings.

Eastleigh arrive for a first ever game between the sides in eleventh place in the table and having gained 27 of their total of 36 points on home soil.

It is a second long away trip in four days for the visitors who went out of the FA Cup on Sunday after a 2-1 second round defeat at Southport.

On their travels so far for points, Eastleigh have had very mixed fortunes, winning two, drawing three and losing five. They have only won one of their last eight on the road in the league.

James Constable is top scorer for the Spitfires with six league goals so far but the Hampshire club will be without Dean Beckwith who begins the first of a two-game suspension for being sent off in the FA Cup tie at Southport.
