ALFRETON TOWN v BIRMINGHAM CITY

Saturday Jul 6, 2013

SATURDAY, JULY 6th, 3pm

Alfreton Town begin their pre-season campaign on Saturday with an attractive home game against Championship side Birmingham City.

Blues manager Lee Clark has promised to bring his first team which will make for a tough game for the Reds but also a very entertaining one to watch. Amongst several new faces, his latest signing is striker Matt Green who was the top scorer in the Conference Premier Division last season with champions Mansfield Town. He has joined City on a two-year deal.

Reds boss Nicky Law is expected to give first outings to all of his six new signings as well as a number of trialists.

Game segregated

The Birmingham City game kicks-off at 3pm and the fixture will see segregation in place. Blues fans should access the Impact Arena via the Alma Street away turnstiles only and Alfreton fans should use the North Street turnstiles.

Admission for the game is just£10 for adults and £5 for concessions - under-16s and over-65s.
