ALFRETON TOWN v ALDERSHOT TOWN PREVIEW
Friday Feb 14, 2014
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 15th, 3pm
After a run of five successive away league fixtures, Alfreton Town entertain Aldershot Town at the Impact Arena in Skrill Premier action on Saturday.
Kick-off is 3pm and the game carries reduced admission of just £1 each for under-16s (accompanied by an adult) and 16-21 year-olds who pay just £5 on the day. Further admission details are listed below, and the discounts are available to both home and away fans.
Reds manager Nicky Law will have to wait for late fitness checks on Michael Wylde (groin) and Chris Westwood (thigh) who both picked up strains in the 1-0 win at Cambridge United on Tuesday night.
Alfreton go into the game in fine form and should be full of confidence as they are unbeaten in their last three games which have yielded seven points and successive clean sheets in the last two.
They will also be aiming to go two points clear in second place with a third league 'double' of the campaign having won 3-2 at Aldershot back on November 19th thanks to goals from Tom Shaw, Josh Law and Jake Speight.
Aldershot arrive in 20th place in the table, two points clear of the relegation places but having played a game more than Tamworth in 21st and they will also be looking for a first win in three league outings.
On the road, the Hampshire side have struggled for goals and have netted just 11 in 15 away games so far, winning three times, drawing four and losing eight. That said, they have only conceded 21 as well.
There is no segregation in place for this fixture but visiting fans are kindly requested to enter the stadium via the Alma Street turnstiles only. Covered terracing and seating areas are available for visiting fans, as well as match day programmes, catering and toilet facilities.
Admission at the turnstile on the day of the game is £18 for adults and £12 for concessions (under-16s and over-65s). Alternatively, Early Bird Match Tickets and Group Saver Match Tickets both offer discounted admission if ordered prior to the match.
This fixture is also a 'Kids for a Quid' admission fee so long as youngsters under-16 are accompanied by an adult. Admission for 16-21 year-olds is just £5 each for this game.
