ALFRETON Town gave their Blue Square Bet Premier Division survival hopes a massive shot in the arm as they moved four points clear of the relegation places after demolishing Stockport County 6-1 at the Impact Arena on Tuesday evening.
Man of the match Nathan Jarman netted two penalties in a hat-trick with the other goals coming from Anthony Wilson, Paul Clayton and Nathan Arnold.
Stockport only reduced the deficit in the second minute of added time when Jordan Rose headed home a Euan Holden cross.

The night had got off to a bad start for the Reds when Adam Quinn pulled up with an injury in the pre-match warm up and he was replaced by Jake Moult which left just three substitutes on the bench.

The attendance was 1,115 including 479 from Stockport.
