RAMPANT REDS HIT UNITED FOR SIX

Alfreton Town stormed into the semi-finals of the 2015/16 season Derbyshire Senior Cup after a 6-0 home win over Long Eaton United at the Impact Arena on Tuesday night.

The Reds proved far too powerful for their Midland Football League visitors and a hat-trick from man-of-the-match Sam Jones paved the way for Nicky Law's side who are now unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions.

Jordan Robertson added one before a late brace from Jamie Jackson (pictured by Bill Wheatcroft) wrapped up a comprehensive Reds win.
