Friday May 13, 2011

Alfreton Town returned to winning ways in convincing fashion as they cruised to a 4-0 home win over a workmanlike Gloucester City side.

oalkeeper Chris Mackenzie saved a penalty for the second successive game when he kept out a Darren Mullings spot-kick on 34 minutes but that aside, the Reds were well in control throughout.

Hearn headed the third on 67 and substitute Ant Wilson cracked in the fourth on 87 minutes.
Attendance 418. Report and pictures to follow.
