TEN-MAN Alfreton Town recorded a dramatic victory from a game which saw four goals in the last four minutes of six of added time.
The Reds had Jamie Mullan sent off on 31 minutes for kicking out and half-time arrived goalless despite Alfreton having the majority of the play.
Alfreton missed the chance to take the lead with a penalty on 50 minutes, took the lead on 64 minutes and then found the will power to net twice more after Hayes had equalised twice in three minutes in stoppage time.
An ecstatic Law said: "We played all that time with ten men but we were immense and could have been four or five up.
"That we won was down to the determination of the side. We took the game to them, the players were magnificent and never gave up.
"I look at both teams from the first game of the season and we have come on massively and are going in the right direction. Our fitness levels were excellent again and carried us through to a win we had to get."
Alfreton had already gone close before Mullan was sent off and Anthony Wilson went close just before the break.
The ten men continued to hold sway and had the chance to go in front from the penalty spot on 50 minutes when Moult was tripped by Morris but Church saw his spot-kick parried by Karl Pentney and Franklin put his follow-up header over the top.
The Reds took a deserved lead on 64 minutes when Nathan Arnold made a determined break down the right and scored his first goal of the season with an 18 yard acutely angled drive into the bottom corner.
Arnold was helping out in defence when his attempts to hook clear a shot from Luke Williams which had struck the inside of a post ended up in the net for an own goal and it was 1-1 on 90+2 minutes.
More drama followed as Arnold produced another strong run to the left byline and crossed for the impressive Jake Moult to rifle in a ten yard drive to regain the lead for Alfreton on 90+4.
Hayes thought they had gained a point for the second time in added time when Soares equalised with a stunning 30 yarder into the top corner a minute later.
But Alfreton were not to be denied and responded once more to snatch the winner on 90+6 minutes when top scorer Nathan Jarman headed home from three yards to finish a corner from Moult.
Adam Quinn was handed a debut in central defence after Leigh Franks was ruled out after having suffered concussion in the home game against Gateshead. Other new loan signing Rob Eagle had to be content with a place on the bench but did see some action later in the second half.
Reds man of the match was Jake Moult. Attendance 600.
