ALFRETON Town came from behind to beat fellow strugglers Darlington 3-1 despite playing over half-an-hour with ten men after Anton Brown had been sent off for a second cautionable offence on 59 minutes.
The visitors took the lead on 27 minutes when Ryan Bowman steered home from close range after Reds keeper Dan Lowson had parried a deflected shot from Adam Rundle.
Alfreton equalised on 33 minutes when Anthony Wilson flicked a header into the path of Nathan Arnold
The Reds took the lead on 58 minutes when visiting keeper Jordan Pickford blocked a stinging angled drive from Nathan Arnold and Paul Clayton bundled the loose ball home from a couple of yards out.
Anton Brown was then sent off on the hour for a second yellow card. However, the Reds grew stronger despite being a man down and Nathan Arnold sealed a superb win with his second goal of the game on 70 minutes. An Adam Quinn header out of defence was flicked on by Clayton and Arnold sped away before steering a 12 yard shot through Pickford's legs.
Attendance: 950 including 245 from Darlington.
