ALFRETON Town fell to a 4-1 defeat at home to a slick Wrexham side who moved to the top of the table with the win.
Already shorn of the services of strikers Anthony Wilson and Nathan Arnold, manager Nicky Law lost son Josh with a groin injury he picked up in the pre-match warm-up and he was replaced by Jordan Hall with Greg Young taking Hall's place on the bench.
In front of 1,165 (445 from Wrexham), the visitors went in front on 13 minutes when Jake Speight netted the first of a hat-trick with a lovely low 12 yard shot which curled inside the far post.
Alfreton equalised on 20 minutes when Nathan Jarman (pictured) despatched his second penalty in successive games after Paul Clayton had been felled by Nat Knight-Percival.
The visitors went in 2-1 ahead at half-time after Speight was allowed to advance across the edge of the 18 yard area before sending a diagonal right-footed shot into the far corner.
Wrexham went 3-1 up on 56 minutes as Speight despatched his hat-trick goal with aplomb from the penalty spot after Anton Brown had felled Ashton.
Substitute Pogba wrapped up an impressive win for Dean Saunders' side in stoppage time when he steered in a low 12 yard shot through a ruck of players after Speight had pulled back from the byline.
On August Bank Holiday Monday, Alfreton travel to take on third-placed York City who are managed by former Reds bosses Gary Mills and Darron Gee.
ATFC Supporters' Association transport departs at 10am.
