REDS CLIMB OUT OF BOTTOM FOUR

Alfreton Town made it three wins in a row and ten points from the last twelve on offer with a narrow 1-0 home victory over Nuneaton in an often scrappy game.

Reds boss Nicky Law opted for the same starting eleven which had beaten Telford in midweek but pleasingly, there were places on the bench for fit again Jordan Keane and Dan Bradley.

In front of 600, the all-important goal came on 62 minutes with David Mellor bagging his first goal for the club as he continues his fine start to life with the club on loan from Oldham Athletic.

However, the Reds were also indebted to man-of-the-match, goalkeeper Cameron Dawson who produced a handful of top saves to keep his side in the game.
